****Reclaimed wood - Reclaimed wood has been saved from various sources and given a new life. Please note these can and often do have small flaws. This can be a slight dent, scratch or small nail hole to name a couple. All wood is solid but will show some of its past life. It will not be a "perfect" lumber yard look. We try our best to keep the good and do away with all the eally damaged wood. Working with this wood saves it from a landfill and more trees being cut.
This house/feeder is made using reclaimed wood and shells. The overall size is about a 7 x 10. In front of the house is a built in tray for seed or fruit to be placed. The tray is covered in small pieces of shell that have not been grouted. We liked the wood showing in between the shells. The house has a clean out area that can be screwed off when the time comes to clean house. This house has been sealed on the outside only with three coats of a marine grade poly. It will come with a wire attached so you can hang it from your tree or pole. Made in a rustic old cabin style.

I had a question for the seller and got an answer almost immediately. The bird house is absolutely beautiful. So nice I almost didn’t want to put it outside! But I did. Couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you so much.

I love this north woods looking bird house. I am going to send it to my brother-in-law who lives in the Superior National Forrest in Minnesota. He lives in a cabin and I know he will enjoy looking at he birds using it. The little rock bed dish in front to be used as a feeder is a very nice touch!
