One of a kind rustic/primitive/reclaimed wood log style bird house

****Reclaimed wood - Reclaimed wood has been saved from various sources and given a new life. Please note these can and often do have small flaws. This can be a slight dent, scratch or small nail hole to name a couple. All wood is solid but will show some of its past life. It will not be a "perfect" lumber yard look. We try our best to keep the good and do away with all the eally damaged wood. Working with this wood saves it from a landfill and more trees being cut.


This listing is sort of special and a one of a kind. This is the very first birdhouse made by my husband after his stroke. He was told he need to find a hobby. So this cute cabin was made. He even won Best in SHow with it at the fair. He has now decided to sell it so someone else might be able to enjoy it.

This house is new and never used. We had it placed on a shelf.

This is a fairly large house with a base of about 12 inches x 12 inches. The wood has all been reclaimed. The green grass on in the front is a outdoor style so it will hold up to the weather. The stones are small river stones. Even the crocheted blanket hanging over the rail was reclaimed from a damaged doiley I made. There is a cleanout in the roof, and screw eyes with a wire will be added prior to shipping. Moss covers the roof and along side the stone chimney. The chimney has the stones glued on and hand grouted around them before a tinted poly was applied to add that aged look to it. The entire house has been given 3 coats of a outdoor poly for protection.
