****Reclaimed wood - Reclaimed wood has been saved from various sources and given a new life. Please note these can and often do have small flaws. This can be a slight dent, scratch or small nail hole to name a couple. All wood is solid but will show some of its past life. It will not be a "perfect" lumber yard look. We try our best to keep the good and do away with all the eally damaged wood. Working with this wood saves it from a landfill and more trees being cut.
We have two of these feeders available for purchase. I have both pictured. Buyer can pick one of both. They are sold individually.
These two feeders have been made from wood reclaimed from a 100 plus year old barn. They each will show tales from their past life, including small nail or staple marks, chips, dents, cracks, paint ect... We have only sanded enough to take all the little burrs in the wood off so you and your outdoor friends will not get splinters. Then they have been given 3 coats of a marine grade poly to bring out all the colors in the wood. These feeders have been worked around what the wood has to offer so each is a one of a kind. They measure about 10 inches tall x 8 inches wide. The wire basket is wide and perfect for peanuts and larger items like fruit slices, suet blocks bedding material. They are ready to ship today.
